INSPECTOR ARRIVED AN THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE SHOP DISASSEMBLED. ALEX, THE MANAGER SHOWED THE FAILURES/CONCERNS. INSPECTOR NOTED THE PLATE HOLDER HAD THE NAME OF AN AUTO DEALER THAT SHARES THE PROPERTY WITH THIS RF. THERE WERE SEVERAL VEHICLE THAT HAD THE SAME. RF STATED IT WAS SOLD BY THE "DEALER" NEXT DOOR. WE NOTED THE FOLLOWING:
THERE WAS SCORING IN CYL # 1
METAL IN THE PICK UP SCREEN
CRANK JOURNALS WERE SCORED WITH # 1 BEING THE MOST SEVERE
ALL THE ROD BEARINGS WERE SCOURED WITH #1 BEING THE MOST SEVERE.
THE CRANK SHAFT AND LOWER COMPONENTS AEE DISCOLORED FROM HEAT. THERE WAS BURNT OIL IN THE PAN ALONG WITH A LARGE AMOUNT OF METAL.
THE CAM COVER WAS ALSO VARNISHED/DISCOLORED.
THE CAM LOBES WERE SCORED.
THE CAMS WERE DISCOLORED (HEAT/VARNISH)
THE CAM BEARINGS WERE SCORED.
THE OIL PUMP BEARING HAD SCORING. (RF STATED THIS WAS THE FAILURE)
NO HEAD GASKET WAS AVAILABLE. RF STATED THERE WAS NO OVERHEAT.
THE PISTONS HAD CARBON BUILDUP
THE CONNECTING RODS ARE DISCOLORED
THE BLOCK AND LOWER MOTOR WAS DISCOLORED WITH BURNT OIL PRESENT.
RF STATED NO CODES ON ARRIVAL AND THE OIL WAS FULL IN THE VEHICLE. NONE WAS AVAILABLE.
THE VEHICLE LOOKS LIKE THERE WAS REPAINTING OF THE FRONT AND MOST LIKELY THE VEHICLE.
THERE WAS SIGNS OF OIL LEAKAGE PRESENT ON THE LOWER MOTOR AND THE ENGINE BAY.
RF STATED THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN IN WITH A LOUD LOW END KNOCK.
RF STATED THE OIL PUMP WAS THE CAUSE OF FAILURE.THEY SHOWED NO WAY TO SUPPORT THAT. DAMAGES OBSERVED ARE CONSISTEN WITH RUN LOW DUE TO THE OIL LEAKS AND CONTINUED OPEARION WITH LACK OF LUBRICATION
