Failed Components and Extent of Damage
THE TRUCK HAS A NEW WATER PUMP, TSTAT AND RADIATOR.
ON STARTUP THERE IS AN EXHAUST LEAK RIGHT SIDE. STOPPED AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES.
ENGINE FAILED A BLOCK TEST. COOLING FANS ARE INOP. HAVE PROPER POWER AND GROUND. NO VISIBLE EXTERNAL LEAKS. OIL 1.5 QTS LOW. NO CODES. NO WATER JUGS SEEN IN THE TRUCK.
FINDINGS CONSISTENT WITH ENGINE OVERHEATING, MOST LIKELY DUE TO COOLING FANS NOT WORKING CAUSING INTERNAL ENGINE FAILURE.
