HAS MESSAGE ON INSTRUMENT CLUSTER: SERVICE ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM. I CONNECTED MY SCANNER, HAS ABS CODE C2200-49 ANTI-LOCK BRAKE MODULE INTERNAL - INTERNAL ELECTRONIC FAILURE. I ERASED THE CODE AND THE CODE CAME BACK. TECHNICIAN PULLED UP REPAIR PROCEDURE FOR THE CODE AND IT SHOWS TO REPLACE THE ABS CONTROL MODULE. TECHNICIAN STATES THAT IT USED TO SHOW TO REPLACE THE CONTROL MODULE WITH THE HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT BUT NOW IT DOES NOT. TECHNICIAN STATES THAT HE CAN REPLACE THE ABS CONTROL MODULE, CLEAR THE CODE, TEST DRIVE AND RETEST. HE STATES THAT IF THE CODE RETURNS WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT. DOES NOT APPEAR ANY REPAIRS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED. NO SIGNS OF EXTERNAL DAMAGE OR LEAKS FROM ABS CONTROL MODULE OR HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT
