PRINT OUT SHOWS CODE P06DD ENGINE OIL PRESSURE CONTROL CIRCUIT STUCK OFF, STORED. CODE P258G ELECTRIC VACUUM PUMP PERFORMANCE, PENDING. TECHNICIAN FOUND OIL COOLER FAILED AND REPLACED IT. STILL HAD CODE P06DDE. THERE IS FINE METAL DEBRIS IN THE PAN. LOOKS LIKE BRASS. BEARING CANNOT BE ACCUSED WITHOUT FURTHER DISASSEMBLY. OLD PUMP SCREEN IS CLEAN. NO SLUDGE IN THE PAN. NO OIL LEAKS.
BRASS IN THE PAN INDICATES INTERNAL ENGINE FAILURE. FURTHER TEAR DOWN IS NEEDED TO VERIFY THE EXACT CAUSE, EXTENT OF DAMAGE AND REPAIRS REQUIRED
