Failed Components and Extent of Damage
1- THE VEHICLE HAS OIL LEAKS FROM SEVERAL AREAS OF THE ENGINE AND THEY ARE AS FOLLOWS:
A) THE CAM PLATE OR VALVE COVER IS LEAKING FROM THE SEALING TO THE HEAD FRONT AND REAR AND TO A DRIP. THE LEAK IS GOING DOWN AND CAUSED THE WATER PUMP SEALING TO FAIL.
B) THE UPPER TIMING COVER IE LEAKING ON THE SIDES AND RUNNING DOWN.
C) THE LOWER TIMING COVER IS ALSO LEAKING AND RUNNING ALL OVER THE REAR OF THE ENGINE.
D) THE TURBO WASTE GATE SOLENOID IS LEAKING INTERNALLY AND OFF THE TURBO AREA.
2- THE WATER PUMP IS LEAKING FROM THE BLOCK SEALING DUE TO THE OIL LEAKS SEEN AND VERY ACTIVE LEAK.
3- THE OIL COOLER SEPARATOR IS LEAKING INTERNALLY AND THE COOLANT BOTTLE HAS OIL FROM THE LEAK SEEN. THE SHOP WILL NEED TO FLUSH THE COOLING SYSTEM AND THE T/STAT THAT IS PART OF THE WATER PUMP WILL ALSO NEED TO BE REPLACED FOR OIL CONTAMINATION.
4- THE REAR SHOCKS ARE WEAK AND THE RIGHT REAR SHOCK IS LEAKING AND LOTS OF BUILD UP FROM THE LONG TERM ISSUES.
5- THE SHOP NEEDS TO PERFORM THE LEAKS AND FAILURE REPAIRS AND GET THE ENGINE CLEANED AND RECHECK FOR ANY ADDITIONAL LEAKS NOT SEEN TODAY.
5- THE FRONT LOWER C-ARM REAR BUSHINGS ARE TORN AND SPLIT BOTH SIDES AND MAY ONLY COME WITH THE ARMS.
MATERIAL FAILURE LOWER C-ARM BUSHINGS BOTH SIDES, REAR SHOCKS, WATER PUMP SEALING, INTERNAL OIL COOLER LEAKING, OIL LEAKS AND SEALING FAILURES FROM THE V/C AND UPPER AND LOWER TIMING COVER SEALING AND TURBO WASTE GATE SOLENOID LEAKING
Recommendations for Repair
REPLACE THE WATER PUMP AND T/STAT ASSEMBLLY AND REAR SHOCKS AND LOWER C-ARM BUSHINGS OR ARMS AND OIL COOLER SEPARATOR AND TURBO WASTE GATE SOLENOID AND RESEAL THE ENGINE FOR ALL OIL LEAKS SEEN TODAY AND RECHECK FOR ANY ADDITIONAL LEAKS NOT SEEN TODAY. FLUSH THE COOLING SYSTEM TO CLEAN OUT THE OIL SEEN
